1/21/04 - Ah, cleaning house. Gotten rid of 18 computers so far, and UPS must love me since I've shipped 350lbs of stuff in the past 2 weeks, and another 150lbs to go by end of the week. Bringing #19 into work tomorrow, get rid of yet another, and by end of week I'll be up to 24 gone. Plus some dead monitors and stuff in the trash, and machines I've given to people at work (and monitors), and all the paper I've gotten rid of, I've probably quite literally gotten rid of a "ton" of stuff in the past 3 weeks.

Spike, my oldest cat, was diagnosed with cancer around the end of November, he's gone from 14.5lbs to about 10lbs in 3 months. Trying to keep him happy for whatever time he has left in this world. Brought home a turkey grinder this afternoon after UPS, and boy he was going at the turkey! He's spending a lot of time on my lap here at the computer, and cuddles with me every night for a while.

Guess I should start a "blog" page for this stuff. Maybe that will be "coming soon" :-) Haven't updated this site in a long time, so its probably time for some of them there 'new features'!

2/21/04 - Spike is at peace. He'd lost a lot of weight over the past month, and had stopped eating or drinking, peed all over himself (and me and the bed) the other night, and had no interest in cleaning himself.. or in letting me clean him. It was time. My once proud King of the house had given up. Thank you Cindy, for being there with me when the vet came over, and for hugging me and letting me cry on your shoulder.

I'll probably setup a 'memorial' page in the next few weeks. For now, me and the other boys need to grieve. They've all been very quiet and subdued today.
